My journey into tattooing started as an idea I had as a teenager. I was always in awe of the idea of putting my artwork on someone forever. I’ve always loved drawing and painting. Many of my friends would ask me to draw them portraits or illustrate them as zombies, etc. Making people happy with my artwork has always been very special to me.
Steve had been shadowing my art teacher when I was a junior in high school and I knew that he worked in a local shop as a tattoo artist. I boldly asked him to keep me in mind if he ever needed an apprentice. Little did I know that I would be contacted later on about that position and eventually be working alongside him as an artist.
After my apprenticeship I had worked at a few different shops that helped me cultivate the ethics I have today as an artist. My goal is to provide all of my wonderful clients with unique artwork that they will be happy with for the rest of their lives. Every day I wake up so thankful for this job and to be a part of the Modern Moose team. I am also thankful to all of the wonderful people I have tattooed over the years that have made my career so fun and interesting, and look forward to every new client who approaches me with an idea to bring to life.
